Can filler create a cleft chin and which is best?

From your description, it is very likely that normal chin bone and muscle recession with age is responsible for the loss of your dimpled, so-called "butt chin."  Fortunately, we have a number of volumizing fillers available that can be used restore chin projection and re-create the center cleft. In my NY office I typically use Voluma XC for this purpose, while in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved injectable volumizing fillers are available, I generally use Restylane Volyme for this purpose. This region is for advanced, experienced injectors, not an area for novice or medspa injectors accustomed to injecting simple Juvederm or ordinary Restylane into smile lines. You're correct in the fact that in the majority of individuals the chin recedes with age. You can easily have that corrected with two methods. One is with the use of your own fat which can be injected and the second method is using fillers.
