I have lymphedema in my left arm (very mild) after breast cancer. Can I have CoolSculpting or Theramage done?

This is very common after a breast-reconstructive surgery.Devices like Coolscultping and Thermage are created to melt down the fat and to tighten the skin, so not helping your lymphatic drainage.In my experience, what is helping the most are manual lymphatic drainage, multi-layer compression bandaging, skin care and Pressotherapy sessions.Hope this can help.Best of luck.

CoolSculpting will not help because your lymphedema is the result of poor lymphatic drainage. I recommend you have a series of Venus Legacy treatments done since the RF and the massage associated with the treatment will improve your condition.

CoolSculpting or thermage is not going to help you with the wrinkly skin. In fact CoolSculpting may result in more lymphedema of the arm. If you have excess fat in combination with lymphedema, liposuction may actually help you with this condition. On the other hand if it's just loose skin I would consider a procedure called j-plasma or Renuvion. Good luck from New York City
