Can anyone point me in the right direction? The first two is what I would like, the Second are very thick no gums and not that nice in my opinion what veneers should i go for that is indentical to the first two thank you.
Answer: What kind of veneers is best Hi:As you know there are different materials used to make veneers, from feldspathic veneers that look the most natural to emax and zirconium veneers that do not look as natural but are stronger. Which type is best suited for you depends on your bite and smile. People that are grinders usually need stronger veneers such as emax or zirconium. Non grinders and usually best candidates for feldspathic veneers.I recommend to find a top cosmetic dentist that is familiar with all the different veneers to consult with.Best,Dr. Maddahi

Answer: Types of porcelain veneers I like how you have done research in all different materials. Emax and zirconia are very strong and machine made, therefore not as esthetic as feldspathic veneers. However depending on your bite, especially if you are a grinder you may need these veneers. In my office I prefer the feldspathic veneers that are hand made by the ceramist. They intend to look more natural and come in all different colors. If you like them very white, have your cosmetic dentist show you the OM1, Om2, and Om3 colors. Good luck.

Answer: Veneers There a many considerations in developing a Cosmetic treatment plan for a patient. It is good you know what kind of look you are going for. However, what your going after may or may not be possible in your mouth. The way you smile and the amount of teeth and gums you show is very individual. A complete cosmetic work-up would need to be done in order to give you realistic expectations for what is possible for you. Generally, bulkiness of veneers has more to do with improper reduction of teeth then with the type of veneer. Find a Pankey trained dentist to help you achieve your cosmetic goals. Hope that helps!

Answer: Gums and soft tissues depend on the patient, not the veneer Some people have a "gummy smile" and some do not. If you already show gums, you will continue (with or withOUT veneers). Some people have upper lips that move a lot when smiling, some do not.You need to find an experienced cosmetic dentist to help evaluate YOU, your anatomy, etc. Ziconia can not bond, so veneers cannot be created out of Zirconia. If you desire this material, then you must have full crowns. However, eMax can be VERY white, so there really is no reason not to use emax.

Answer: Veneers (Type / Materials) It seems as though your main concern is the aspect of craftsmanship of the veneers. When doing veneers there are two components to consider: 1. a great doctor 2. a great technician (artisian). Proper planning and execution is required of the doctor not to have a bulky result that gives an unnatural result. A great lab technician is required for the fabrication of natural looking veneers. Both components are of utmost importance when making a decision to do veneers. I hope this helps in your decision making process. Thanks
