Can blue veins caused to face after a carboxy treatment return to normal or disappear? (photo)

Question

Dr said up to a week for swelling to go down but I did not notice the new veins until I returned home. Will the go away or am I stuck with them. I guess they're spider veins bit very noticeable. I also have eye swelling and redness.

Hi, 
You should have zero swelling and Zero prominent blood vessels after a carboxy treatment for your eyes. What has probably happened is that the Doctor injected oxygen into the tissue before the CO2 was flowing through the tubing. You see, the tubing holds some oxygen in it. That oxygen is supposed to be purged by letting the CO2 flow for about 25 cc's before injection is done. If done properly, your swelling should be completely resolved and you should look completely normal once you exit the office within 10 minutes. 
Now, this should not cause any permanent problems if that is all that has occurred. It will just take awhile to go down. Cases like this can be immediately treated with additional CO2 injection to try and speed away the oxygen. 
This should never occur with an experienced practitioner, unless they just "forgot" to purge the tube accidentally and they did nothing else wrong. In 18 years, and thousands of treatments I can tell you that this is not a typical carboxytherapy treatment outcome. 
Certainly if you develop any other symptoms you should seek medical attention immediately.
