Years ago, I did a TCA 35% home peel which left me with a large area on my right cheek hypopigmented. The cheek was disturbed accidentally, causing the outer skin to dislocate. Protecting it at that point didn't help, it's lighter. I also have light skin behind my ear. During a facelift pulled too tightly into the incision behind my ear. My question is, would a TCA peel done over this skin help or harm it? I'm going to do a peel soon and want to know if I should protect it with petroleum jelly.
