Most men will develop a mature hairline somewhere between 16 - 30. At 16, you are on the young side of this spread, but from the photo you sent, it looks like a maturing hairline, not balding. You did not report hair loss so this is even more suggestive of the V shaped hairline that is so typical of the maturing hairline. When a person is balding and lost the frontal hairline, re-create the mature hairline on men. You can see this on my gallery under 'hairlines' referenced below. On many of the photos, you will see that I have drawn in the V shaped hairline that I created and these before pictures might help you compare what you have with what you see. I would also suggest that you google various actors that you may know like "matthew mcconaughey images" and see how your hairline compares.
