I have been looking at rhinoplasty images and have noticed removing the dorsal hump can cause a change in the frontal appearance. Is there a way to get the dorsal hump removed without causing the tip to change or at least not make it wider than it originally is?

A nasal fracture should be splinted to protect it if it is at all originally displaced and requires a reduction. The splint usually stays on for a week.
