Temp crown fell out. What should I do?

I'm in the Dominican Republic on vacation. I have a temporary crown on an implant in the space of tooth 7. That temp crown fell out and is gone now (swallowed accidentally while eating). My question: do I need to see a dentist in the DR to get a temporary placed, or can it wait a full 9-10 days (by which time I will be back in the USA)? Thanks.

It is never ideal to leave a tooth uncovered, however, I do suspect that the tooth and crown will come off at the same time.  If the crown comes off prematurely, have a dentist take a look to determine if it's okay to leave it.

If the post that is inside the crown and down the root of the tooth is fractured it needs to be carefully removed from the canal.  If the tooth structure is sound and there is enough left to support a new crown then a new post and crown would be indicated.  A lot of times if the post...

Hi, probably you will need to remove the crown to evaluate this tooth and see if have any fracture, if it not, need to evaluate this side teeth to be sure there's OK.
