#TummyTuckRevision surgery Revision surgery is unusual but may be desired for several reasons. Most revisions should be done after 9-12 months. One cause for revision surgery are “dog ears” at the ends of the incisions. These are small folds of excess skin that do not flatten over time. They can be excised, suctioned or both.Scars may widen or continue to be red and elevated. These may require laser treatment or injection with kenalog and 5-FU. Excision and reclosure may help some scars. Other treatments are available as well.Excess fat or loose skin may require liposuction and skin excision to obtain the best result.
Abdominoplasty scars can be quite complex, ranging from the simple hypertrophic scar to a multiplane inflamed keloid. Pigmentation, discoloration, chronic inflammation, scar visibility can all occur in the short term. We begin each treatment with combination therapy using Yellow broadband BBL, Vbeam, fractional erbium, intralesional IIT, and scar modulation. Start with a combination of Plato's Scar Serum massaged twice daily after one week of epithelialization followed by Luminase/Exfolase. Scar consultation and revision may be recommended. Thank you for your question and photos. You will need to be evaluated in person to determine what would be best for you. Lipo alone will just remove fat, but that could leave you with loose, sagging skin which would only be corrected by undergoing a tummy tuck. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Based solely on your photos, I would advise you to try liposuction first. I think it will help with your issues. And if it doesn't you can explore tummy tuck revision surgery down the line. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Your photos give a very limited information for good evaluation. It seems that you should try liposculpting (liposuction) first. Shaping of lower abdomen, flanks and lower back seems to be possible using liposuction only in your case. You should consult a board certified plastic surgeon for detailed evaluation and discuss your options. Good luck.
Hello dear! Thanks for the pictures and provided information as well.Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for liposuction and a tummy tuck revision, to give you a nice tight tummy and to get rid of the extra skin, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your waist, back and flanks, along with the tummy tuck.In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
A combination of scar revision or mini TT with Liposuction is my suggestions>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I suggest you explore liposuction with two or three surgeons and if it seems advisable a liposuction should help you. I do not think you need another tummy tuck type procedure. My Best, Dr Commons
Hello! Thank you for your question. #Swelling can persist for several months and will gradually improve and will look better at three months, six months, and even one year. An evaluation for a #tummytuck #revision should be done at that time. I know it is difficult to be patient, but in the long...
Hello, thank you for your question and photos. A recovery period for #musclerepair would be similar to your #TT #recovery. In my opinion you need to be #evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon. The PS that provided your care in the first #TT would be best because the PS knows you well....
Hello, thank you for your question. I suggest you carefully research #BoardCertifiedPlasticSurgeons and seek 2 or 3 BCPS's to evaluate you for a #TT #revision. I have attached a link for your research. Best wishes!
