I correct shelf buttocks all the time.I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
You should bring pictures and just explain to him what you expectations are. Tell him your fears and he should listen. Good luck.
Dear Journey, If you want a "teardrop" booty that last for long time , consider only butt implants because fat injection does not last beyond 6 - 12 monthe as I have noticed in my surgery center on patients who came for butt implants after having fat injection by other surgeons. Now, technically, in order to obtain "teardrop" booty with projection you need to have the butt augmentation in the sub fascial plane and use an oval round implants that are placed in a pocket that starts at the posterior iliac crest . The pocket should be extended downward as musch as necessary and should not extend excessively laterally. I hope this is helpfull. Best of luck, Dr Widder

If you have not met with a couple of board certified plastic surgeons, I would do this. This could be a couple of things, and an exam can help with the diagnosis.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
