I have had IPL treatment at home before for hair removal, and it was effective to a great extent, but it only slowed down the growth of hair and decreased the number of hair follicles. It didn't permanently remove it. So, I was thinking of getting laser treatment. Is it safe to have laser treatment although I've used IPL before? And will it be less effective because of that?

Thank you for your question. Although laser hair removal doesn’t come with many side effects when performed correctly, temporary numbness and tingling is a reasonably common one. For most people, any numbness goes away within several days or a week. I would recommend giving it some more time. B...
The question that you asked is it would affect the treatment of hair growth. It shouldn't, exfoliating is for the skin and does not go deep into the skin where hair follicles are located in the skin. Exfoliating right after laser hair removal can make the area more sensitive and red.
