I had a VP brain shunt in 2005. It was more complicated than the typical brain shunt surgery. I had a 7 cm arachnoid cyst in my cerebellum. It was life threatening bcz it caused Arnold Chairi Malformation. I also have hydrocephalus, and I had two syrinx - both of which have been resolved. My NSG said he never performed the surgery before and that he doubted many of his colleagues had, as well. Anyway, you can understand why I am concerned about whether or not I should risk a lipo procedure.
