This is difficult to answer without pictures. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Moles can be removed with laser, radiowave or shave. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Greetings,If the mole is bothersome or appears to look worrisome, a removal would be necessary. The procedure to remove a mole is fairly simple. In our office at Skingym Dermatology, we inject an anesthetic into the skin and then will shave or perform a punch to remove the mole. The entire procedure takes about 10 minutes and heals nicely. There currently to my knowledge isn't another way to remove a mole. If the mole looks uncertain, then we always send to the lab to ensure there isn't something more serious going on. Any mole that look abnormal in color or shape should be removed and sent to the lab for further analysis.
Thank you for your post. It is best to get in touch with your surgeon and ask him/her their specific post procedure instructions and follow up plan. Best to call them 1st thing in the am. Sincerely,Dr. Benjamin J. Cousins MDBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
Thank you for your question. It is unlikely that aloe will make this fade away or change significantly.Sincerely,Dr. Benjamin J. Cousins MD
I do not believe that any of those home remedies would be able to help you. I remove moles from patient's faces regularly in my office -- where is that mole located?? (it's not possible to tell from this photo). My advice would be to see a board-certified Dermatologist...
