Is it possible to make my upper lip mole darker?

Hello, I have an upper lip mole( similar to the one of model Cindy Crawford) though mine is not as dark as her but much clearer (as clear as my skin tone). Is it possible to make it darker so that more "noticeable" or is it dangerous and I'd be better off removing it and having it tattooed on that same sport? Thank you.
