Lip injections - dark spot appearing under lip after injections (Photos)

I have gotten my lips done twice now. The second time almost a year ago. A few days after I noticed I had a dark spot under my lower lip, at first I thought it was a bruise. Now, it’s been almost a year and it’s still there. Sometimes it’s more noticeable than others but whenever I smile you can really see it.

It's difficult to say for sure without seeing the spot in question, but it's possible that the dark spot could be related to the lip injections you received. Injectables can sometimes cause discoloration or pigmentation issues, especially if the injections were not administered correctly or if there was an adverse reaction to the product.

It's also possible that the dark spot could be unrelated to the lip injections and could be a completely separate issue, such as a mole or freckle, or even a type of skin discoloration known as melasma.

Either way, it's best to consult with a dermatologist or medical professional to have the spot evaluated and determine the best course of treatment, if necessary. They may recommend a skin biopsy or other diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the dark spot and recommend appropriate treatment options.
