Why Did my Nose Get Bigger? And Am I Doing the Wrong Thing?

Im going to try to sum this up ok basically - last year my nose was way skinnier i had lost weight and had barely any acne i was 15 -now im 16 and my nose looks way bigger i gained the weight back and have been ick with flu cold everything - i went to a doc but it was no help they just said i was sick - so i started squeezing my nose and stretching it - what should i do my nose use to be way smaller and skinny - but even my mom said it got fat and im sitll SICK help!
