It is possible that very high heat lights can cause the dermal filler to harden, but it is unlikely that this happened in your case. In my professional opinion, it is unlikely that your dermal filler was injected improperly because of solid areas or bumps. Solid areas are common when the filler is first placed. I usually do a series of messages to help prevent this initial effect. You should expect the solid areas to dissolve over the next 2-3 weeks, as you move your lips in your normal everyday life. The bumps you are feeling, after your injectable fillers, are caused by too much filler injected at one point in the tissue and, possibly the injection was done too superficially. With good injection technique, this happens rarely. The good news is the solid areas you are feeling will flatten out over a period of a few months. The teeth whitening and light used, seem irrelevant and more of a coincidence than related to the derma filler injections and the solid areas you are feeling.
Great idea, but unfortunately, it's a lot harder to do than it seems. There is no paint currently on the market that is harder than enamel, once it dries. And like most paint, if it is cracked or begins to peel, it would likely need to be scraped off completely, before being redone....
Other options may include the following: Option #1: Tooth bonding. This technique works well to whiten your teeth in just one appointment, but needs to be redone every 12-18 months, because they tend to stain faster your normal teeth.Option #2: Veneers. You can...
Pictures would be great, but based on your description, I can make a limited diagnosis that you likely would benefit from porcelain veneers. With veneers, you can choose your tooth color and shade. Veneers are extremely resistant to stains. You can expect them to last 20-30...
Hello there,After reviewing your question I would say, just get the veneers. The resin bonding is only temporary and will set you back hundreds of dollars. Why waste that money, when you can use it towards a more permanent fix like veneers. Of course you loose some natural...
You can generally expect the sensitivity to greatly decrease over the next 10 days. I usually have my patients take two 200 mg ibuprofen tablets to decrease sensitivity caused by over-the-counter whitening agents. I also recommend using tooth paste that is made for sensitive teeth....
