Would surgically repairing a severe diastasis recti help heal/reverse mild pelvic organ prolapse (cystyocele and rectocele)? I am working with a pelvic floor physical therapist; however, my diastasis is very severe and I'm considering surgery to repair it.

It is possible that they could cover this if they believe that it would fix your condition. However, I would find this to be unlikely as it is mostly a cosmetic procedure unless there’s also a hernia developing in the diastasis.
