Once You Have Dermaplanning Done, Are You Now Committed to Do It the Rest of Your Life?

Dermaplaning removes the top dead layer of skin cells, along with the vellus hairs (peach fuzz). Your hair may appear to feel a bit course once they start to grow back, but will return to the "peach fuzz" feel. Dermaplaning will not stimulate additional or worse hair growth. Dermaplaning is an easy procedure where dead skin is removed from the epidermis, as well as vellus hair. Skin appears smoother, lessening the appearance of acne scarring, any sun damage or hyperpigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles. Typically, when the hair starts growing back, it will come back with a blunt edge feeling like "stubble."
