I took accutane as a teenager & it cleared up for the most part but since I have entered my 40s I’m breaking out. it’s mild to moderate mostly comedonal acne but it’s chronic. I tried spironolactone forb2 months &I lost half my hair I’m using a lot of active products: benzoyl peroxide diferin , tazorac and plaxion wash which I think is all too much. My acne is persistent though. Should I try it at my age? Is it dangerous? Could I lose My hair? How effective is it? Could My migraines get worse?
