I would recommend you follow-up with your dermatologist for consideration of removal of the entire scar that contains the recurrent mole.  Most of the time recurrent moles within a scar are benign -- however, it is unknown what changes could have occurred with your mole after 10 years. The entire lesion should be removed and evaluated by a dermatopathologist.
