I had a mole removed from my shoulder 10 years ago. It was benign but left scar tissue. The mole is now growing back into the scar. I saw a dermatologist about 1 yr ago and he did not seem concerned about it. It seems to be darker brown, more splotchy since that visit and it is slowly expanding with somewhat jagged edges. It's a little bigger than a pencil eraser, but seems to be confined to the scar tissue. Will be returning to dermatologist soon but wanted to ask about it in the meantime. Thanks!

Answer: See a Cosmetic Dermatologist for Mole Removal--lasers, radiowave, shave
I would recommend waiting a few weeks to determine whether there is recurrence. Use Plato's Scar Serum twice daily followed by Spectrase SPF 30. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
This could represent a mole recurrence or scar formation. Apply Plato's Scar Serum + Spectrase SPF 30 to the area and observe for a few weeks pending the biopsy. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
Hello,I agree with others on this site regarding the Radio-wave removal. I posted a link below discussing this and how the procedure works. I hope it is helpful. James Bonaparte
