After seeing Dr. Lim's study which was presented at the NonSurgical Symposium in Australia, I would say there is absolutely no reason to wait. I have done for years a combination of fillers with Infini on the same day and have had no problems at all. I have always placed the fillers in the sub cutaneous layer or deeper with cannulas. Bellafill has a very high temperature (160C) for it to degrade and the Infini only goes to about 65-70C. I have placed Bellafill in the dermis on the same day without effects as well. Dr. Lim's study showed that even with fillers placed in the dermis, there was no effect. I have advocated in the past that dermal fillers were at risk for being degraded but Dr. Lim changed my mind.
I would wait 24-48 hours. New study about to be published showing INFINI RF will not degrade fillers, even if placed superficially. The reason why I gave an answer of 48 hours is because your injection points would have completely healed by then. Dr Davin Lim, Brisbane. Australia.
I think there are better devices than Infini for this problem. I would look into the Thermitight and the BodyTite. These both use RF but in a broader zone. There are a bit more invasive - go under the skin and require tumescent anesthesia, but the results should be much better.
Infini is a popular treatment, but I prefer intensif because the needles are non-insulated and it gives more robust results. For skin tightening of the neck, I recommend a combination approach would give the most improvement. Kybella, PDO Nova Threads, Ultherapy, lasers, m...
As with others I absolutely agree. The caps are very expensive, and hence why I can see why some doctors will want to try to cut cost, but this should NEVER happen. Contamination is an issue, sharpness will decrease over time, and carbon build up on the tips will make it a non insulated blunt,...
