I have stretch marks on my butt which makes me very self conscious. What treatments other than Exilis Ultra do you suggest might work to correct this and even out skin tone? Some have suggested laser tattoo tempo treatments or CO2 in the past.
Answer: Exilis Thank you for your question in regards to stretch mark treatment. Exilis would not be the proper treatment to help with unwanted stretch marks. Some lasers and micro-needling treatments would be a better solution. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Answer: A great option for stretch marks would be to do Resurfx laser. It will help even out skin tone and texture Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Stretch marks Resurfacing procedures off the face generally heal poorly. Stretch marks can be improved but not removed with resurfacing. Several sessions of microneedling with PRP is safer than an ablative laser and just as effective.

Answer: Stretch marks Exillis would not be the best treatment for stretch marks on the buttocks. You should consider microneedling with RF (Lutronic infini). This can be combined with PRP or a biostimulatory dermal filler such as radiesse to improve the results.
