Hello marymjohnston14, for you to get the best results with your chemical peel I would suggest getting having your skin therapist doing your dermaplane on the same day as your chemical peel. I suggest having the dermaplane done first before the peel so that you may receive the full benefit of both procedures. Dermaplane allows us to remove the outer dead and damaged layers of the epidermis, with an added bonus of removing unwanted vellus hair. With this combination of removal of damaged layers and breakthrough of healthier skin, this allows the peel to penetrate deeper and give you an overall better result.I have extensive experience with chemical peels, for more examples of this service view my RealSelf profile.Thank you
