Will I remove all my skin with multiple chemical peels?

Hi. I wanted to know that if i take four sittings of yellow peel on my face every year for maintenance, would i be left with no skin because peels remove layers of skin?? Thanks

No, the chemical peel does not remove deep layers of the skin but only address the most superficial layer for as little as a light exfoliation. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. All peel should be performed at the office of a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Thank you for your question. No, doing four peels a year would not leave you with no skin. The peel will peel the top layer of your skin off and then your skin regenerates itself. There is no permanent removal of skin layers. Make sure you go to a licensed professional for your peels. There can be adverse effects from peels if they area done improperly.
