You will notice a difference with your botox treatment after about 4-7 days and 2 weeks for the final result. Generally fillers are instant results but then take about 2 weeks for the swelling to subside and the product to settle for the final results.
You shouldexpect to see some initial results from you Botox treatment by 7-10 days, withyour maximal results by 14 days. With filler, you will see your initial resultsimmediately after your treatment, and by 7-14 days, you will see your finalresults.
The onset of effect of Botox after it is injected is approximately 3-5 days for most patients. In some cases it may take up to 2 weeks to see the full results. Results from filler can be seen immediately that there is usually some swelling associated with filler injections. It can take 1-2 weeks before the final outcomes can be judged.
Botox will take anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks to start to work. With filler, you should have an immediate result. It may be a case in which you need another syringe of filler. I would suggest going back to your physician and discussing your concerns.
Fillers typically give immediate results depending on which one you had injected. It may take up to 2 weeks to see the results of the Botox. If you are unhappy with only a subtle improvement, I suggest going back to your physician and discussing your unhappiness. Typically, the expectations of treatment are discussed at the consultation and my patients know exactly what to expect from treatment and the results. I always under treat, and if more is needed, we make further improvements at the following visit. I wish you the best, Dr. Emer.
In general, it can take up to one week for the Botox to take effect. The result is subtle, and you may not notice what is mentioned as a huge difference. I would recommend following up with your injector regarding any specific concerns. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck.
Hello and thank you for your question.Botox takes anywhere from 3-7 days to take effect on the muscles you are trying to relax. As for filler, it depends on the brand used but most fillers (the hyaluronic acid variety) give an immediate result, followed by a period of swelling for a few days. That said, you won't really see the final results of both treatments for at least a week. So I would say that it's too early for a final judgment, and to wait it out.Best of luck to you!
There are two parts to your answer; Botox vs. Fillers. The hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Beletreo, etc.) should provide immediate visible results. However, your plastic surgeon should have discussed with you the types of changes you could expect, and which areas might need other procedures. It is important to use the best treatment for different areas of the face, and different types of problems. Sculptra is a different type of filler and its results evolve slowly over weeks and weeks.Botulinum toxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) take at least a few days to begin to weaken muscled that cause certain facial lines, especially frown lines and squint lines or crow's feet. The majority of the effect is established in 4-7 days. Small improvements are possible after that. The lines themselves don't go away immediately, but the muscle activity causing them lessens. With periodic Botox treatment, lines usually continue to get better and better (over months time).Keep in touch with your surgeon for further information. Best Wishes.
Botox effect does not happen immediately. It usually takes 4-7 days. If you do not have the desired effect, you may need more drug the next time.
BOTOX results on an average show well after 2-4 days, but if it done for reasons like jawline shaping, may take about 2 weeks for the changes to start. For fillers, you should have noticed some change right away, but evaluate the outcome after 7- 10 days for the final picture! A day after the procedure is a little early to worry.Good luck!
