Is it possible to grow booty in the gym after open removal of illegal butt injections?

I have about 1000ccs of illegal silicone or something injected into my buttocks. I want the silicone removed by open removal. Wondering if I’d ever be able to grow fat and tissue back and build a booty in the gym after removal?

Hi Crownedlevi, and thank you for your question. Most definitely, yes. With my staged, open excision silicone/biopolymer removal technique, I remove the deep silicone that rests within the muscles and deeper fascial spaces with washout and lift. After silicone removal and fat replacement (reconstructive BBL to replace any lost volume) you can definitely work up glute muscles with squats and other weight training exercises without any issues. I understand your concern. Many patients fear that after open silicone removal they will permanently lose the ability to rebuild shape or develop muscle in the area again.
In many cases, patients can still strengthen and develop the gluteal muscles after recovery, especially if enough healthy muscle tissue, nerve supply, and blood flow are preserved during surgery. The body’s ability to respond to exercise does not necessarily disappear simply because silicone was removed.
However, the final outcome depends heavily on:
* how deeply the material infiltrated* whether muscle tissue was involved* how much scar tissue develops* nerve involvement* and how much healthy tissue can realistically be preserved during removal
One important thing to understand is that open silicone removal is often very different from cosmetic surgery. In heavily infiltrated cases, surgeons sometimes must remove inflamed or damaged tissue in order to control pain, fibrosis, migration, or chronic inflammatory reactions. The more extensive the tissue involvement, the more unpredictable long-term contour and tissue behavior can become afterward.
Exercise can absolutely help improve muscle tone, support, strength, circulation, and overall shape later in recovery, but it may not fully replace volume loss if large amounts of fat or soft tissue had to be removed.
Without imaging and examination, it is impossible to predict how much reconstruction or natural muscle development may ultimately be achievable in your specific case. One of the most important goals in experienced silicone removal surgery is preserving as much viable tissue and future reconstructive potential as possible while still addressing the symptomatic material safely.

Hi CrownedLevi, thank you for your question regarding whether it's possible to grow your booty in the gym after the open removal of illegal buttock injections.  The short answer is, "Yes, you can grow buttock muscle in the gym after removing illegal buttock injections." First, I would suggest the removal of your silicone injections.  1000 cc of illegal silicone is a SIGNIFICANT amount of the product.  In addition, you need to consider that your body has formed scar tissue around all this illegal silicone.  Therefore, when you undergo surgery for silicone and associated scar removal from your buttock, you will significantly reduce your current buttock size.  After you have healed from your surgery, your plastic surgeon will clear you for exercise.  Clearance to exercise after silicone removal is about 4 to 6 weeks after silicone removal.  
When you can return to the gym, the best exercises for increasing buttock mass would be squats and Stairmaster.  These buttock exercise methods have helped many of my patients recover soft tissue mass in the buttocks.  Not all patients need body reconstruction surgery to augment their buttocks after silicone removal.  Dedicated physical exercise, concentrating on developing the gluteus maximus muscle, can be done instead of undergoing surgery to reconstruct the buttock.  You must be aware, in consideration of the amount of illegal product you have in your buttocks, that you will have to spend a significant amount of time in the gym to develop that amount of buttock muscle and maintain that buttock muscle mass.  Thus, obtaining buttock mass will take time and commitment.  
Nonetheless, you can still do significant activity to create gluteus maximus muscle mass.  Thanks for your question.  I hope I have answered whether growing booty in the gym is possible after removing illegal buttock injections with the open technique.

Without posting any of your buttock photos the response are pure guessing! Plus you are saying you had 500 cc's (1.1 pounds!) of illegal products injected in each buttock cheek or was it a 1,000 cc's (2.2 pounds!!!!)per cheek????? Removal would be a very large, bloody and difficult surgery , ONLY in hospital setting with a long recovery of over 1-2 months. Have you had an MRI or ultrasound of your buttock yet?
From my experience removing by the open incision method leads to severe deformation of the buttock with NO chance any exercising will improve it! Only more surgeries with fat grafting under ultrasound guided injections can offer some hope. Good Luck.
