Is there such thing as a long lasting/permanent temple lift?

I want a temporal lift to lift the outer corners of my eyes and a slight lift to my upper cheek. If I put 3 fingers on my temple and lift up, this is the result I want. A more open, awake and elegant appearance to the eye. Can I achieve this with a temple lift? How long will the results last and what is the cost?

You trust your surgeon, and it also sounds like you have done some research (you mentioned the word ptosis, for example.)I am sure my colleagues will agree that your picture isn't enough to help us give you advice. (Though I understand why it's tough to post a more complete picture of yourself...

Photos and an exam would be required for the best opinion. However, base on your age i would certainly try out Botox on the high side to lower it rather than consider surgery as the first approach.
