I am 5'4 and fluctuate between 115-120 pounds. It doesn't matter if I am under my typical weight @ 112 or over my typical weight @ 125-I still have this crease. I exercise 3-5 times per week & mostly eat healthy. I notice that other women in their 20's don't have this. I don't think there is anything more I can do with diet or exercise because it happens when I am in my best shape. I have had this at least 10 years. I don't want lipo suction since I am pretty thin elsewhere in my stomach.

Answer: Crease on the lower abdomen The contour of the abdomen is made up primarily of the muscular skeletal structures. Secondary to that is how the skin drives the body including various areas of connective tissue bands that anchor the skin to the underlying muscle fascia. The single line on your lower abdomen most likely represents a combination of these connective tissue bands anchoring the skin to the underlying muscle fascia together with a skin crease that has become accentuated due to the fact that this is where the skin naturally folds in a sitting position. My first and foremost recommendation is reassurance and to let you know you have a beautiful body and you should leave this alone and except that all bodies have small areas that are unique to each individual. There's nothing wrong with you. Lots of women have lots of small idiosyncrasies of their body. This is not something that has anything to do with weight, diet or exercise. I would absolutely avoid fat removal especially by injecting Kybella. Doing so has a high chance of leaving you disfigured. You could try injecting fillers just below or into the skin surface. If this gives good results then you could try very careful fat transfer later. My recommendation is to except your beautiful body as something you should be proud of and not look in the mirror so much. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
