Will Latisse help correct lash loss due to hyperthyroid?

I am 19 and I have been diagnosed with hyperthyroid. I have been losing lashes like crazy and I can't even wear mascara because it makes they fall out more. I have tried Latisse before and it didn't work because my lashes were falling out too fast. Now that I am working to regulate my thyroid, should I start using Latisse to help speed up the lash growth? They have become so thin I would really like to have my original thickness back.

Please do not try to treat this yourself. Latisse will not give you the result you want. If the scar does not resolve on its own within the next few weeks, tattooing to blend it into your skin would be the best option. I suggest you see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I suggest you see an expert for evaluation.  This can be treated with prp/progesterone, hair transplantation, latisse.  The underlying issue needs to be determined first.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Latisse is great but it is temporary in nature.  So when you stop it, your eyelashes are likely to return to their previous appearance.  Good luck!

The eyelashes go back to their normal growth/length after stopping. I suggest maintaining the results with few times weekly dose.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Latisse can cause some darkening of the iris but it is very unusual.  Additionally, it is much less likely if you are applying it correctly to the eyebrows and avoiding the eye itself.  If you have brown eyes there is no issue at all.  I would encourage you to try it, but you...
