I had butt injections 11 months ago. I have numbness in my hands and leg and arm pain.

Question

I have gone to the emergency room several times. They have performed an xray, Ct scan,ultrasound , bloodwork and urine test. They said everything came back fine and gave me a referral to a neurologist ,I have an appt to see soon.. I am still in pain. If there was an infection or inflammation. Would it have been detected? Please help I am scared.

Did you have a buttock injection with fat or another substance? I definitely agree that you should have this investigated, and the emergency room/urgent care is not likely the best place to have this done, as they are accustomed to dealing with more acute issues. You should see your primary care physician who can run appropriate tests and/or send you to the right specialist to further work up your symptoms. Your symptoms may be unrelated to your recent procedure, but it's best to get this checked out. Also consider returning to the physician who performed your buttock injections to ask if he/she has any other patients who have had similar symptoms as you.
