I’m curious about side of effects TCA cross can have on overactive/oily pores. I have ice pick scars from cystic acne from my 20s . My pores are enlarged primarily in my tZone and they are oily. I don’t have active acne but I do have clogged pores. Will treating these areas enclose the oil under the skin causing cystic acne again?

Answer: TCA damages the skin to produce collagen and raise the skin to even out texture. It will not further clog the pores.
