Nose swelling and scar tissue one year after septoplasty. How can I address this?

Hi! I had a Septoplasty in March 2022 and my nose has significant scar tissue. I just had my second Kenalog injection but still my nose looks horrible- round and undefined completely different than my original which I was very happy with. I’m concerned my surgeon isn’t giving me enough Kenalog injections given the time that I have had to live with this new nose which was under the impression septoplastys didn’t change your nose! Can I see another surgeon to address this w/o surgery?

Typically, anything involving the septum is going to better treated by a facial plastic surgeon or ENT doctor rather than a plastic surgeon.

That is not at all a deal breaker. When you go on a consult explain these issues to the surgeon. Venous access is always possible

Hello Sir!Thank you for the photos you shared but unfortunately it is not possible to say much from the photos. In order to fix your breathing issue you may need a septoplasty /or/ full rhinoplasty with rib cartilage reconstruction.
