I’m a 64-year-old woman, 5’10", 115 lbs, with a naturally slim face. In the past I had good results with filler, and a provider recommended Sculptra as a longer-term option. Over the course of 12 months, I had 3 sessions (2 vials each time — total of 6 vials), all placed in the lower face/jawline only. No product was used in my cheeks, temples, or upper face. I was told that treating the lower face would “help lift the whole face and cheeks.” I don’t look better. I’ve since read that Sculptra is typically placed in the upper and mid-face first, and sessions are usually spaced closer together. Is lower face only over 12 months ever considered appropriate? I’m just trying to understand whether this approach aligns with standard protocol. I’d appreciate any insight.
