Bruised and swollen and 10 shades darker - was this setting too extreme? (Photo)

PicoSure Setting Focus Lens: 8.0, 0.40j,10Hz ZoomOpticLens: 6.0, 0.71j, 5Hz under 1500 pulses. I’m of South-Asian ethn. Fitzpatrick 5. After my first treatment the treated spots under my eyes were swollen, bruised, red and even a small blister and very hot even the next day. Treated patches same day at least 5 shades darker. Was the setting too extreme powerful ?
