Can a beard transplant be performed 1 week after a jaw and chin implant?

In general, it’s not ideal to perform two major surgeries within a short 2-week period, especially when one of them involves the face — like a chin and jaw implant, which causes significant swelling, tissue inflammation, and requires careful healing.

Your body needs time to recover from anesthesia, swelling, and tissue stress before undergoing another procedure. Performing a second surgery too soon can increase the risk of infection, delayed healing, and poor aesthetic results due to inflammation.

If possible, it’s safer to complete your facial implant surgery first, wait at least 3–4 weeks (preferably longer), and then proceed with the next operation in a separate trip.
Even if flight costs are higher, your safety and long-term results should always come first.

I would recommend you to wait until all of the swelling subsides otherwise it is difficult for the surgeon to design the beard for you. Also, the healing might not be good if it's too early for the second surgery. I understand that the flight is expensive but it is better to get it done safely.

In a perfect world it would be better to get the jaw/chin implant first then do the beard transplant about 6 months later. However I understand time and money are an issue. That being said I would suggest you do the beard and wait at least 3 weeks before you do the jaw/chin surgery. Best wishes to you.

It is better to do a beard transplant first and 2-3 weeks later perform the jaw procedure. Because during the surgery the patient needs to lay on his face. Ideal world do jaw surgery and 4-6 months later beard or beard and 2-3 weeks later jaw surgery.
