Smile Hair Clinic is excellent. It's been 8 months since I got my hair transplant procedure done (Dec 2024) and I honestly cannot recommend them enough! They offer very professional services, world-class facilities, and the doctors truly care about you and your well-being. Dr. Ahmedov took really good care of me and it was wonderful to work with him and his team. From airport pickup to hotel stay, and from the actual hair transplant procedure to post-op aftercare, the entire process was very smooth and everyone was always very kind. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant and anxious about the results before and even after getting the procedure done, but after taking the leap and waiting a few months, the results now speak for themselves and I am amazed at how well my hair has grown in and at how many compliments I've received from others around me - it really is a life-changing experience. very nice surgeon team, dr. ahmedov is also really professional and i loved being here. he drew an amazing hairline, 2 weeks post-op and ive healed well, no swelling, no itching, no inflammation, no necrosis, got 4600 grafts played by an amazing technician team and i felt at home! i went to my walk-in doctor and she couldnt tell i got a transplant done until i brought it up as i was refilling my finasteride. shoutout to bushra for helping me feel at ease and being an amazing technician!! and ofc everyone else at smile clinic :) glad i got this done. they covered my whole hairline, and put the remaining on my mid-scalp and the crown. amazing transportation team, got the gold package yet the doctor came and check in about 10+ times. would 100% come back if needed in future (hopefully not! I had a wonderful experience at Smile Hair Clinic in Istanbul. I'm 51 years old and I figured this was a great time to have this procedure done, in all honesty I wish I had done it sooner. My procedure was on April 29, 2025. Smile Hair Clinic really makes it easy for people coming from all corners of the world. The clinic arranges all transportation and hotel booking; I booked the flights several weeks in advance of my appointment. All communication is done in WhatsApp. I left the U.S. on Sunday evening and arrived in Istanbul Monday afternoon. The clinic has a driver pick you up at the airport, he takes you to a 5-star hotel, the next day the driver takes you to the clinic where you'll meet with the medical team and you'll have your procedure that day. The next day again, a driver drives you from the hotel to the clinic where you'll have your post-op appointment, then drives you afterwards to the airport to fly home. At the clinic, I met guys from Russia, the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. Some people choose to stay an extra day or two, but in my case, I was only there for 3 days. It's been 11 weeks since my procedure and I'm very happy with the results so far. After 6-9 months I'm sure the results will be even better. We had only 3900 grafts to work with in my case, the other guys I spoke with, who were all younger I think, had a higher number of grafts than me, but everyone's different. The medical team were very professional and excellent; communication was never a problem. I was assigned to Dr. Ahmedov and he knows his stuff, he is very knowledgeable, he advised where my new hairline should be, and I agreed 100%. Since I'm in my 50s I wanted something age appropriate. Pretty happy with the whole experience, transportation was good, surgery day was good, hotel was nice, after-care stuff they give you is nice, communication pre and post op is good, I have no real complaints

Crown area is a little bit more difficult area for transplant comparing to other areas of scalp. It is also important to see the previous photos to decide it is a good result or not. But if you are not comfortable with the results you can demand another operation with a professional to increase the density in the crown. If medication did not work this is a good option.
