At least from the photo provided, it appears that the scar is somewhat indented, as well as discolored. If so, then subcision would help to elevate and smooth the scar. Once done, then manual Dermastamp microneedling (no need for the added the expense and risks of RF microneedling) can be used ot better blend the surface of the treated scar in both color and surface texture with the surrounding normal skin. You would be wise to exercise a healthy dose of "buyer beware" when being hawked this or that fraxel laser or RF gizmos, as the hard science to support their use unfortunately lags woefully behind the heavy marketing hype and social media buzz that surrounds them.
