Thinking about undergoing profound rf treatment for my lower face jowels. Would like any input good or bad. Is it a procedure that works? What can I expect? 50% improvement or higher?

Not sure if it is too late as your question is dated November 2017, however, Profound RF is an excellent way to treat the skin compenent of the jowl. Based on your photos there appears to be little if any fat excess to your jowl, however, I do see some skin under your chin. Based on over twenty years of experience with facial fat grafting I understand the facial aging process. The skin excess indicates that that you are loosing support from the back of your jawline(near to your ear). Fillers or preferably fat grafting will help elevate the skin. The combination of the two should do what you are looking for. Hope this helps.

I have used, and performed Profound on patients over 5 years- this treatment is outdated, and less predictable than other non surgical treatments. Downtime of 7-10 days, and it is best done under sedation. Can work in some, but now with newer technology, there are better treatments are out there. All the best, Dr Davin Lim
