Cryolipolysis and Emsculpt Neo - how long should I wait between these procedures?

I have just finished my second of four Emsculpt Neo sessions and am wanting to know how long I should wait before a fat freezing session of same area. I realise that the order may have been preferable the other way around, but it’s too late for that. Can I start fat freezing immediately after my Neo sessions are complete? Or is it best to wait for a period of time?

Hello and thank you for your question! It’s generally recommended to wait at least 2 to 4 weeks after completing your final Emsculpt Neo session before starting fat freezing (cryolipolysis) on the same area. Emsculpt Neo combines muscle stimulation with radiofrequency, which temporarily inflames and heats tissue to break down fat and build muscle. Your body needs time to fully respond to and recover from this process before introducing the cold-induced fat cell apoptosis (cell death) caused by fat freezing.

Starting fat freezing too soon could interfere with your body’s natural inflammatory and metabolic responses to Emsculpt Neo, potentially diminishing results or increasing risk of side effects like prolonged soreness or swelling. Giving your body a short recovery window ensures you get the most benefit from both treatments.
