How to Counteract Minoxidil's Effect on Collagen Production?

Minoxidil can cause aging by decreasing the expression of lysine hydroxylase in collagen production. Can this be counteracted, or must I just stop using it? I've never had a wrinkle in my life, and am noticing marionette lines after using Minoxidil for 2 months. Must I choose between my face and hair?

There is no specific treatment to thicken the diameter of hair but there may be treatments to grow more hair such as Propecia and Rogaine.  You wound need to see a doctor to see which treatment may be right for you.

Having foot fungus will not cause hair loss on your scalp. Your foot and your scalp are at the opposite ends of your body.  If you believe you have fungal issues on your scalp see a doctor for an exam.
