Hello there.With this bmi you are candidate to have a sleeve gastrectomy or rny without problems. The sleeve will be a good option with similar weight loss results than rny with less nutritional effects. From the information that you provided, you could be a candidate for a gastric sleeve or mini-sleeve. Insurance requires a BMI of 35 with a comorbidity, such as high blood pressure, sleep apnea, diabetes. Or a BMI of 40 without having to have secondary health issues.
