Bonding would work, but in my opinion would make your two central incisors look way too wide. You'd replace one problem (the gap) with another (unnaturally large teeth).A better solution, in my professional opinion, is to have porcelain veneers on at least the four front teeth. That way the four (or six) front teeth would all be in proportion to one another. Some dentists would recommend Invisalign, however before beginning orthodontic treatment ask them once the space is closed will it ever open up again? And, how long will you have to wear a retainer? My guess is that no dentist or orthodontist will guarantee the the space will not come back, as a large space like you have has a very high probability of relapse. Some orthodontists will tell you that it will stay closed, but you will have to wear a retainer for the rest of your life (or until the orthodontist dies), which is unacceptable to many adults. You very well might find that you spent two years with braces or Invisalign, and then the spaces come back and then decide to finally have veneers to correct the gap problem. My professional opinion as a cosmetic dentist is to eliminate your downside risks, and have porcelain veneers done.
It is rare that a case like yours looks very good with bonding. Ideally, close the spaces with orthodontics (of any method, Invisalign, 6 Month Smiles, Inman aligner, etc). That alone may be "enough" to satisfy you, it may lead to other treatment like whitening. The fastest and most esthetic method would be porcelain veneers, as that can be done in a matter of weeks. The investment is greater, but is very durable and beautiful.
You have beautiful teeth! And a wide arch. Which leaves you with a midline gap in front. While yes you can bond it closed and a talented dentist can do a good job for you. However you will not like the result as this will eave your front teeth too big. I recommend that you find an Invisalign provider that can close that space with Invisalign Express. This is often less costly than full Invisalign and you can whiten at the same time. You have beautiful teeth, and with Invisalign you can have them perfectly spaced too. Go to the Invisalign website for the best doctor near you. I can tell you will will be thrilled with the results you will get.
Dental bonding could close the gap in your front teeth. Other options include veneers or you might consider braces. I would find a good dentist who can discuss your options with you. Good luck!
Yes, most dentists do some kind of direct composite bonding. However, to get the best result it would a huge advantage for your new dentist to use the same bonding material in the same shade (color). There are virtually hundreds of different kinds of bonding materials and scores of...
The photos that you attached a very helpful because they show very well the concerns that you describe. If one of your concerns is to have the teeth appear more straight, then I would consider minor orthodontic movement prior to doing any major cosmetic dentistry. If you simply wish to have...
There would be no cost benefit to you, if you try to find a dentist to reattach the same bonding that fell off; it would be much better to have the bonding on that tooth simply redone. The typical cost for cosmetic bonding ranges from about $150-$350 per tooth, depending on your region of...
