Should I be concerned if my surgeon contacted me asking to take down a question I posted on RealSelf?

I'm not sure I'd be concerned, but I don't see anything wrong with you posting a question and asking for insight. Perhaps your surgeon felt that he preferred knowing that your questions were answered fully and the post showed maybe they were not? I encourage you to speak with your surgeon about this.

Typically, the surgeon performing your surgery should be able to answer all of your questions and concerns, therefore they may feel that any of your questions should be directed to them. They have more specific information about your situation and therefore tend to be better equipped to respond.

I would be concerned!. It sounds like the surgeon is upset that you do not trust them despite the fact that you chose to have them perform your surgery. I would suggest getting a couple more consultations as you obviously still have doubts that you are getting the correct information. Make sure you are using a board certified surgeon that specializes in breast surgery.

Your surgeon will not be happy to read this post since you called him "childish." If you want to use this surgeon, please take your posts, including this one, down. You want to have a good relationship with your surgeon, and some surgeons have fragile egos.

I have read all your postings here on Real Self. What is of some concern is receiving a call or request to remove a very normal appearing review/posting from your newly chosen surgeon. This might be a blessing to you in that if the surgeon or his staff has so much free time to review postings this would be something from my view as a red flag. You are allowed to post, you are allowed to be nervous and ask questions. Also if you desire big C-D cup I think 325 might be to small and NEVER do sub glandular placement. Either sub pectoral or dual pane placement is acceptable. You have some thinking to do.
