Can you advise on IPL Brazilian burning and irritation months later? (Photos)

Bright787863
I used a Nood at home IPL device that claimed to be safe for hair removal including Brazilian. I used it weekly for a month, then noticed severe irritation on my labia. I went to urgent care and was given Bacitran ointment and doxycycline. Saw my gyno 3 days later. he told me my skin looked normal and to stop doxy. It’s been 2 months and my skin still looks normal but feels like it is burning and irritated almost all the time. Could there be permanent damage even though no one can see it?
