I'm a breast cancer survivor (10 yrs remission) and I've had a double mastectomy, expanders, and reconstruction (implants). I want to go bigger but I'm not too sure if that's even a possibility. Im 42 years old, 5'3" and 150lbs. I got the implants in 2016-17.

Answer: Can I go have my implants changed out for bigger ones after breast reconstruction?
Options for breast reconstruction revision can range from implant exchange with capsulotomy, fat grafting and scar revision to removal of breast implants and replacement with a tissue-based reconstruction.
For nipples that are too low post-mastectomy and reconstruction, a breast lift can be performed to raise the nipple position. Depending on the amount of elevation required, a donut style, lollipop style, or anchor pattern style can be used to raise the nipple and re-drape any loose skin.
If you are unhappy with the shape or symmetry of your implants after breast reconstruction, you may be interested in an implant exchange +/- fat grafting.
