Can I stop the chemical peeling treatment without going for a second session...?

I did a chemical peel three days ago. They asked me to revisit after two weeks and also need to do about 6 or 7 sessions. I cannot still see any peeling process in my face. But the skin is tight a little and shiny a bit. What kind of a peeling treatment they have done on me? Can I just stop the treatment without going for a second session..? I am 23. Wii there be any side effects if I do so?

Hi Angel, Thank you for your question. There are a variety of chemical peels, each one targeting a specific problem area. For best results a series is recommended, usually 3-6 chemical peels, each done every 3-4 weeks apart. Some peels are stronger then other, therefor peeling can vary. There are no repercussions to stopping in the middle of treatments, but you may not achieve desired results. Wishing you all the best!
