Is it possible to completely get rid of or at least decrease the syringomas on the face (forehead and under eye)? (photo)

I have been affected by syringomas since my teens and have tried various medications and now trying the E Light Laser too, but no change. It tends to worsen with the climate and I live In Sri Lanka (a very warm place).. Iam planning on trying the CO2 laser now - is it good or is there something else I should do? Any diet I need to follow and will it worsen in future ?

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

The best way to treat these is with a CO2 laser - but not with resurfacing.  If someone uses a resurfacing laser you will look the same once you are healed.  With a cutting CO2 laser you can core out these glands.  The laser goes directly down into the gland to kill it.  You will have a small black scab at every gland treated.  After about a week the scab will fall off and it will look red for awhile as it heals.  Once healed it should look good.  Sometimes a second treatment is needed.

Yes, a CO2 or erbium laser can help. With your skin type there will be skin colour changes for at least a few weeks with laser. Note-syringomas are eccrine genetic tumors and will recur with time. See a certified specialist and you will be in good hands, Dr Davin S. Lim, Brisbane. Australia.
