I got my new veneer teeth a week ago. How long do I have to wait until I can eat an apple as a whole and not in cut pieces?

Though, properly biting into apples with veneers should not and will not break or debond a veneer, the chance of biting wrong and the forces involved with taking that chomp into an apple can damage a veneer (as well as natural teeth).  Therefore, it would be best to avoid this and to instead cut apples into wedges first.  You invested in a new smile and it is therefore worth extra prevention.

Once restorations such as veneers or bonding are performed in your front teeth is highly suggestible that you DO NOT eat apples as a whole because even though the durability and resistance is high is not part of your natural teeth and every time you do take a strong bite directly in to an apple you will be putting this restorations in risk of popping off.

By nature, you should be more conscience of your front teeth (veneer) once your treatment has been completed.  In other words, respect your front teeth by not "biting your nails" or tearing open a bag of chips.  I find that patients all to often take for granted their original teeth and tend to abuse them.
As far as apples are concerned, I would recommend slicing them.  Truly, it should be safe with properly cemented porcelain veneers/crowns but it's really not worth the risk.  

You don't  have to wait once you have your permanent veneers. you can start using them right away.
You need to avoid traumatic actions like opening a bottle with them ...etc

I typically recommend a life long avoidance of biting into anything hard with the front teeth when veneers are placed. Veneers are just a facing bonded onto the tooth. They can easily pop off or break if too much pressure is applied to them.

Hello,it is better to eat the apple in pieces, this is because your teeth are trapped inside the apple and when you take the bite you can lose the veneer.You can make small bites to the apple however we always recommend that you should eat it by pieces.
