Skin graft after MOHs surgery healing quite well, should I continue to cover it with sterile gauze 4 months post?

Thank you for your question.  It would be best to follow-up with the Mohs
micrographic surgeon who performed your skin surgery.  Lesions on the legs take the longest to heal
so it is important to follow the instructions of your surgeon.  Developing a non-healing wound or ulcer on
your leg will require a lot of time and care to heal so anything you can do now
to prevent this from occurring would be advised.  If your surgeon advises that you can leave
this uncovered, you will need to make sure to keep this area protected from the
sun.  You should be applying a zinc oxide
or titanium dioxide sun block daily (reapplying every two hours) to all sun
exposed skin, wearing sun protective clothing and a wide brimmed hat.
